[edit] TASKS FOR SUNDAY 8th

Deadlines for 8th:

  • Viral document that can be distributed by anyone:
  • Charter with a set of points that we all agreed to during the conference
    • The charter should be a FINAL document and should not be later modified.
    • If modifications subsequently appear to be necessary, make a new document
    • Put the charter on the website so that everyone can edit it until it becomes final on sunday
    • Individual signatures or anonymous FCForum ownership of the Charter?
    • Authorship: Page with the names of the authors of the Charter
    • Endorsement: Allowing everyone who agrees with to sign it on the web
    • Need to make it clear that it is not a petition
  • Choose a name for the document
  • Decide whether or not the charter can be forked:
    • The original document is the one we all agree with
    • If we do various versions it may lose its political weight
    • Problem of maintance: If we accept forking, we must have one person from each country with the responsibility of taking care of these editings and bring them back to the group. Simona agrees to be the maintainer, and to incorporate every amendment that will be sent to her, after approval by the group.
